Technique, fitness, coordination, unity, friendship, and passion were all on display for Genesis Football Academy’s very first summer camp.  Players from all ages came out, experienced the Genesis Football Academy (GFA) philosophy and ethos, and enjoyed the beautiful game.

With the little time our experienced coaches had, we tried to make a lasting and positive impression on the players to reveal where every player can go. Throughout the week of August 10th, we showed that with some inspiration, perseverance, and a demanding curriculum, we believe every player can reach their full potential.

Although we mostly focused soccer technique and tactics, through our environment and culture we saw players from all ages befriending one another. Several players were happy to show new moves and skills to younger players, happy to work together in small-sided games, and come together as a big group at lunchtime.  This is exactly the kind of environment and culture GFA encourages and wants to impart on the players, parents, and everyone involved.

We were happy to have such a great turn out this summer and we hope to see some familiar and new faces next summer!
